🐷This little piggy when to market🐷

April has seen Market Drayton livestock market pig sales start with great success, Great news for shropshire pig farmers and those further afield.

So pleased that Barber auctions is making a home for pigs sales on Telford’s door step. Glowing market reports are already stating great success on 154 entered pigs on the first sale.

What a start! A great turn out of pigs and buyers. A big thank you to everyone who made the return of pigs sales a great success

The Sales starts at 10:30 and will run every first and third Monday with Entry lots for cull sows and boars followed by prime pigs and stores. Please make a note in your diaries!

The turnout so far has been extremely positive with super quality pigs and large crowds. Sales are proving to be excellent, so please continue to show support by attending as all types are pigs are needed to further the popularity.

From a personal point of view my father-in-law had his hard work recognised twice topping the weaner prices and again with two gilts. Shamelessly proud.

A full alleyway of potential buyers saw the best white pigs in demand. Some lovely weaner pigs topped at £36 from R.D Clemson.
